Job Description : COSCO Shipping Logistics North America, Inc. is seeking a customs broker to work in its Secaucus, NJ headquarters office. Specific responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to : Work with clients to ensure all documentation is received and accurate. Handle the release and ISF / entries for vehicles / personal goods being imported into the US via air and ocean. Supervise and ensure accurate and timely processing of ISF and entries. Ensure data entry of shipment information for release and billing is accurate and complete. Ensure classification and value are correct for U.S. duties / fees. Coordinate and prepare entry summaries as needed, monitor shipment release routes, and arrange transportation and warehousing. Complete daily reports on releases, classifications, and related activities as assigned. Create and maintain shipment data in relevant systems, with familiarity in Cargo Wise software, including operational and financial functions. The candidate should have the capability to lead the brokerage department, complete all jobs efficiently, and control all risks. Experience & Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree required. 3-5 years of customs broker experience required. Experience with customs laws, regulations, procedures, and industry practices required. Valid current customs broker license required. Strong team spirit and ability to coordinate with related departments.
