Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Director - Direct Marketing Audience & Experience to lead efforts in optimizing performance, donor profiling, retention activities, and enhancing marketing effectiveness across offline channels. The role involves leveraging analytics, predictive modeling, and machine learning to drive insights and campaign success. Responsibilities include leading donor lifecycle campaigns, behavior analysis, significance testing, and presenting results and optimization opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Leadership: Manage development, planning, and implementation of activities to meet ALSAC's goals efficiently.
  2. Experiment Design: Design and execute tests to measure campaign effectiveness, including A/B testing.
  3. Team Development: Mentor and coach team members, fostering an inclusive environment and ensuring deadlines are met.
  4. Financial Management: Oversee budgets for offline donor marketing efforts, including forecasting and monitoring results.
  5. Analytical Insights: Use advanced analytics and machine learning to enhance donor experience and marketing performance.
  6. Innovation and Testing: Research and implement innovative solutions to improve campaigns.
  7. Performance Metrics: Meet KPIs for various donor categories and increase personalization efforts.
  8. Direct Mail Strategy: Develop data-driven offline messaging strategies and partner with marketing teams.
  9. Cross-Department Collaboration: Coordinate across departments for workflow and operational improvements.
  10. Policy Development: Establish policies to improve operations and ensure budget adherence.
  11. Stakeholder Relationships: Maintain positive relationships with vendors, partners, and volunteers.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in donor growth strategies, experimentation, and campaign management.
  • Experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets and building growth-driving campaigns.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Experience with audience segmentation, data management platforms, and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • At least 5 years leading high-performing data-driven teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.
