Are you experienced in managing complex liability claims involving commercial vehicle accidents? We’re seeking a Claims Manager with a strong understanding of the trucking industry and a background in litigated or high-exposure claims. This role is ideal for someone with experience in personal injury, auto liability, or trucking litigation — whether from an insurance, TPA, or law firm background — who’s ready to make an impact in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment. STARTING PAY IS BASED ON EXPERIENCE.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• An experienced claims professional or paralegal with a minimum of 5 years in high-volume, injury-related auto claims or litigation
• Someone familiar with commercial vehicle accident claims, FMCSA regulations, and trucking operations

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Investigate and manage bodily injury and liability claims involving commercial trucking accidents
• Assess legal exposure, determine liability, and coordinate with legal counsel on defense strategies
• Monitor and manage litigation milestones, discovery, and settlement negotiations
• Communicate regularly with insurance carriers, attorneys, claimants, and internal stakeholders
• Maintain accurate and complete claim files, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards
• Support subrogation and recovery efforts where applicable
• Provide insights on claim trends to help reduce future liability

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of experience in liability claims handling or litigation support (auto, commercial, or trucking preferred)
• Knowledge of insurance principles, trucking claims, and relevant laws/regulations
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Experience with claim management software and legal correspondence (REQUIRED)
• Prior experience working with motor carriers or commercial fleets is a plus
