Currently, our growing practice is seeking a part-time Oral Surgery Assistant for our office in Burley, ID . This position will start as part-time, but has the potential to transition into full-time.

Since this position provides hands-on support to the clinical team, the ideal candidate should possess an energetic personality while showcasing dedication to every patient that comes through.

Job Responsibilities/Duties:

• Welcome & greet patients.
• Schedule patient appointments.
• Clean, set up and stock operatory rooms.
• Complete patient intake paperwork and keep patient records updated.
• Take X-Rays, sterilize surgical equipment, and assist doctor with oral surgery duties.
• Keep rooms/instruments clean and sterilized to ensure proper infection control practices are being followed.
• Comply with OSHA requirements with respect to hazardous waste materials.

Requirements:

• Friendly, energetic and dedicated personality.
• Must be able to work both independently and cooperatively in team settings.
• High School Diploma
• Experience preferred, but not required.

Physical Demands

• Often required to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms.
• May be required to lift packages up to 25 pounds.
