Job Description

A rewarding opportunity awaits for a skilled and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide remote therapy services to K12 students in Kansas. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging speech and language therapy sessions to students using secure teletherapy platforms.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments in alignment with Kansas state education standards.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to meet student needs.
  • Provide direct therapy support, ensuring that each session is productive and goals are met.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and timely progress reports to track student advancement.
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, special education staff, and families to foster an inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences.
  • Active Kansas SLP license.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of recent school-based experience is preferred.
  • High-speed internet and a personal computer that meets teletherapy standards.
  • Must successfully complete a tech screening.
  • Comfortable working independently as a 1099 contractor.
