HR Professionals is currently seeking candidates to fill various positions for QA Testers that are interested in working throughout the State of Louisiana or are interested in Remote opportunities. These positions will require the experiences outlined below. Job Requirements We are seeking an experienced Software QA Tester. This person will join our growing QA team and work closely with the larger software team to help shape, coordinate, and drive the improvement of all aspects of our IT Department. Minimum Requirements Must be detail-oriented, organized, and responsible. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly articulate testing results and findings to clients and team members. Excellent time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail, with a strong ability to identify potential issues and risks. Ability to learn new methods and procedures appropriate for the situation. Ability to work independently and as part of various teams. Able to perform other duties as assigned. Summary of Essential Job Functions: Understand the QA process and the software development lifecycle. Review and analyze software requirements and specifications to understand project goals and functionality. Participate in daily team meetings and weekly demos, comparing design wireframes against standards. Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures. Create and execute test plans to ensure product quality. Prioritize test cases based on impact and risk. Perform various testing types including functional, regression, integration, UI, smoke, exploratory, API, and non-functional requirements such as security, compatibility, and performance. Conduct regression testing to ensure stability after code changes. Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring resolution before release. Log and track bugs in JIRA/Azure DevOps. Respond to client issues and communicate effectively about deviations. Troubleshoot web and mobile applications daily. Review historical bug reports to identify areas needing attention.
