Compensation
Base Salary: $235,000 - $435,000 (commensurate with experience)
Bonus: Eligibility for an hours-based bonus is available

Role Summary
The role includes working both independently and in team environments on complex real estate transactions. This is an opportunity to represent a sophisticated client base on high-value deals across a wide range of asset types and deal structures.
Core Responsibilities
Represent real estate developers, landlords, financial institutions, Fortune 100 companies, and national retailers
Advise on lender and borrower side mortgage and mezzanine financings
Handle real estate acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, workouts, and joint ventures
Work on matters involving real estate private equity funds, unit trusts, and REITs
Structure and manage transactions across all types of commercial real estate investments
Engage directly with clients and provide strategic legal counsel
Must-Have Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school
Active admission to the New York Bar (no exceptions)
Stellar academic credentials (law review or moot court experience preferred)
Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a major law firm setting
Mortgage and mezzanine financings (lender or borrower side)
Joint venture transactions
Real estate acquisitions and dispositions
Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
Proven ability to manage complex components of large transactions
Preferred Qualifications
Law review or moot court accolades
Experience advising on private equity real estate fund structures
Demonstrated client-facing experience and business acumen
