Description

Sitting within the Operational Services Department, Logistics (along with Guest Operations, Language Services, Accommodation, Transport, and Travel) aims to deliver an engaging, innovative, and accessible World Cup experience for all involved.

Reporting to the Head of Logistics, the Senior Manager Warehouse will oversee Warehouse Logistics operations supporting multiple stadiums/venues across Canada, Mexico, and the USA, ensuring seamless service delivery during the tournament. This role will also lead a team responsible for warehouse logistics, under the guidance of the Head of Logistics.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead logistics operations for FIFA functions and external stakeholders across the three countries.
• Develop and implement warehouse strategies aligned with logistics service levels and cost efficiency.
• Manage planning, implementation, and operational processes for warehouse logistics.
• Oversee the warehouse logistics team, including staff wellbeing, motivation, training, and performance evaluation.
• Create SOPs, workflow charts, and communication strategies.
• Coordinate space requirements and volume metrics for incoming/outgoing equipment and commodities.
• Participate in financial planning, cost analysis, and budget management to meet departmental goals.
• Generate reports on inventory status, dead stock, and other logistics metrics.
• Work with Material Logistics on procurement schedules and warehouse space planning.
• Coordinate move orders with Venue Logistics, maintaining communication to meet venue needs.
• Conduct safety audits and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Assess Material Handling Equipment needs and oversee maintenance and training programs.
• Establish security protocols for warehouses.
• Manage receipt, storage, distribution, and recovery of assets and equipment.
• Collaborate with Procurement and Finance on purchase orders.
• Support logistics operations during the tournament through the Logistics Coordination Center.
• Manage warehouse logistics budget and contribute to sustainability initiatives.
• Participate in outreach and stakeholder education programs.
• Serve as the primary logistics contact when traveling or working remotely.
• Maintain logistics situational reports daily/weekly.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelors degree or equivalent in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 5-7+ years experience in major event logistics or similar environments.
• Strong team player with excellent customer service skills.
• Effective communicator across diverse audiences.
• Proven project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Comfortable working under tight deadlines in multicultural settings.
• Strong analytical skills and decision-making capability.
• High attention to detail.
• Fluent in English; Spanish and/or French is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office, planning software, and collaboration tools.
