Position Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Staff Accountant with 10+ years of individual and corporate tax preparation and review experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, a problem solver, analytical, and can work independently meeting deadlines while also being a team player.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare individual and business (corporate, partnership, LLC) tax returns.
• Review other preparers individual and business tax returns ensuring accuracy and completeness while making recommendations for any discrepancies.
• Respond timely and professionally to client emails, phone calls, and voicemails.
• Maintain up to date status codes in Ultra Tax CS and input all billable and non-billable time daily in Practice CS.
• Have a strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (CPA or EA designation is preferred but not required).
• 10+ years of professional accounting experience.
• Strong experience in preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns is required. Trust return experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Thomson Reuters UltraTax CS and Practice CS is required.
• Working knowledge of GAAP, federal and state tax regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple client engagements with minimal supervision.
