We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in accounting principles who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment. You will play a key role in managing financial processes, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to overall financial strategy.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and completeness across multiple business entities.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing, payments, and reconciliations.
• Prepare and post journal entries while maintaining proper documentation to support financial transactions.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts regularly to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Manage cash flow and oversee cash-based accounting processes for multiple entities.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring financial reports are accurate and complete.
• Generate detailed financial statements and provide insightful analysis to support decision-making.
• Utilize NetSuite accounting software to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Collaborate with external tax advisors and auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and streamline financial reporting.• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in full-cycle accounting roles, demonstrating attention to detail.
• Familiarity with cash-based accounting; experience with accrual-based accounting is a plus.
• Proficiency in accounting software, with prior experience in NetSuite preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Previous experience in commercial real estate development or a related field is highly desirable.
