Join us to oversee our newly opening B&O store in Union Square, San Francisco. We are seeking an experienced store manager to launch the store and B&O brand in the market.

This store is one of our monobrand partner stores and whilst you will be exclusively representing B&O you will be employed through our partners business: ASBC Inc

Your mission

As our new Store Manager, San Francisco you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and strategic improvement of this key retail site. The B&O store in Union Square will be opening in October, however our partner ASBC Inc already have a pop-up store opening late summer, therefore we are seeking a Store Manager who can utilize the pop up to build the brand network in advance of the main store opening.

Additionally, your remit will cover all operations and team management for the store, ensuring we have the best sales team representing B&O.

More specifically, you will:

  • Hire, build and develop a high-performing retail team to operate the Flagship Store
  • Setting goals, ensuring the necessary resources are in place to achieve results, and monitoring progress
  • Be accountable on delivering sales and profit targets of the store
  • Deliver outstanding customer experience throughout the whole customer journey
  • Perform day-to-day training to the sales team, ensuring they all deliver up to Bang & Olufsen high standards
  • Inspire and motivate the store sales team, defining weekly planning and development opportunities
  • Act as an ambassador to the brand, and represent the brand in and outside the store during key CRM events
  • Ensure an outstanding in-store visual merchandising, following, and adapting headquarters guidelines.
  • Ensure coordination with internal and external stakeholders (installation team, B&O Americas, service providers, after sale service, etc.).
  • Ensure seamless execution of all financial and administrative processes (sales and cost reportings, inventories, after sales, etc.).

What you bring

You have minimum 4 years of experience as a Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager or similar and either experience with, or a great passion for, lifestyle or high-end brands. A passion for music and audio products is also a great plus.

Furthermore, you:

  • Are solutions-oriented and able to adapt quickly to changes, which enable you to make decisions independently and, on the fly; even under pressure
  • Are incredibly driven, which pushes you to achieve results and cope well with setbacks
  • Know the importance of representing a brand and are therefore able to lead your team by example, with a positive attitude
  • Possess great administrative skills, enabling you to structure and plan work schedules, leaving no shifts unmanned
  • Are interested in high tech (hardware and software), design and musique

Compensation: Competitive salary and benefits package.

Start date: As soon as possible.

Travel: Approx. 5%
