**Job Overview:**

We are currently seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team for a 13-week contract position. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department environment. This is a full-time position with a night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30, requiring you to be available every other weekend and holiday.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and best practices for patient safety and care.

**Qualifications:**
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an emergency department setting preferred.
- Proficient in using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, specifically Epic.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

**Additional Requirements:**
- Must reside more than 75 miles from the contract location.
- Required health screenings and immunizations as per onboarding guidelines, including COVID-19 vaccination, Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, and a 2-step PPD or IGRA test.
